Scientific method serves the purpose (not to be undervalued) of spreading science to the masses; it fosters the dissemination of science, and thus it is perfectly understandable we emphasize the methodology's social aspects. But make no mistake about it—this is not the science of Newton, Darwin, Einstein. This is the science of S. Baron-Cohen, G. Dawson, A. Klin, and millions of others just like them.
